BELA COZINHA AFETIVA is a brand of traditional frozen meals created from the belief that eating is, above all, an act of remembrance. Rooted in decades of family culinary tradition, the project explores food as a vessel for memory, preserving the flavors, rituals, and emotional connections that shape personal histories. Through an identity grounded in authenticity, warmth, and heritage, the brand transforms everyday meals into moments of reconnection. More than offering frozen dishes, BELA expresses food as an enduring link between generations, carrying forward the tastes and stories that time so often threatens to erase.

BELA required the development of a visual identity capable of evoking the legacy and emotional resonance of a long-established restaurant while establishing itself as an independent and contemporary brand. The challenge lay in building a new identity that inherited the memory, warmth, and authenticity of an already consolidated business without creating a direct visual association or explicit linkage. Drawing from the visual language of traditional deli-style restaurants, the resulting identity feels inherited rather than created, reinforcing a sense of familiarity and permanence. A robust and welcoming typographic system, combined with a palette rooted in the history of the original establishment, allows the brand to carry decades of cultural memory while functioning confidently across physical spaces, packaging, and brand communications.
